grow with the support of others.
Live group workshops provide an experience of speaking in front of others. In a warm, supportive environment - that both normalizes your experience as well as gives encouragement - you'll grow at a slow and steady pace.

Organizational workshops and company offsites
Learning with others in your organization or team not only teaches skills: it builds organizational culture and a common language, enabling your team to coach each other in the future. Topics covered include:
-
Speaking Skills Essentials. These introduce the core elements of The WholeSpeak Method: confidence, crafting talks and clear messaging in meetings, connection, nonverbal communication and presence. Participants leave with a clear skill set and an outline of what to practice to become a powerful speaker in both meetings and to groups.
-
The Art of Connection. This team-building workshop introduces core concepts of connection, including how to stay connected with yourself (to increase authenticity and resilience), deeply attune to others, and engage and impact with intention and effectiveness. Depending on the company culture, this can be highly playful and fun with lots of movement, or ease participants in with simple exercises.
-
Leadership Presence. Both executives and managers benefit from greater presence so they are seen and trusted as leaders. Skills taught include connection, body language, succinct messaging, keys to presence and more.
-
Cultivating Spiritual Intelligence. Spiritual Intelligence (SI) goes beyond EQ in that it focuses on the well-being of the entire person, bringing in elements including purpose and meaning, gratitude, self-care, trust and joy. These may also be supplemented by taking individual or 360 assessments to help each person grow their personal awareness and intentional impact.

These workshops are offered both virtually and in person. Some common formats include:

Brown Bag Lunches
Typically lasting 1-2 hours, these are informative, knowledge-based workshops that provide an introduction to public speaking or focus on a particular topic such as confidence, body language, leadership presence or connection. They can also be used to assess interest in deeper trainings. They are offered both in-person in the San Francisco Bay Area, as well as virtually.

1/2 or Full-Day Workshops
Lasting 3 to 6 hours based on needs and goals, these are a great way to quickly teach skills to a group (anywhere from 4 to 100). They are available in person around the United States, with travel expenses if outside the San Francisco Bay Area.
Group Classes (Virtual or In-Person)
The ideal way to learn skills is slowly over time: speaking skills and executive presence are not a series of tricks or tips, but skills that need to be integrated. These may fully be offered virtually, although a wonderful offering is to begin with a live group workshop in person and then continue online by utilizing our signature online training, Claim Your Voice: Speak with Power and Presence.
